Harry’s one of those “Chosen Ones” that was made a Chosen One because of Voldemort’s actions and fears instead of a Prophecy telling him he’s special because destiny says so. Also, his friends don’t become irrelevant or worship the ground he stands on because he has Special Chosen One-ness.
Coming in 2018 is Disney’s next fairy tale mythology animated feature film, set amongst the South Pacific islands, rendered in a ‘painterly-style CGI’ (think the Paperman short): and y’all are going to LOVE IT:
The main character will be Moana Waialiki, a sea voyaging enthusiast, and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators. When her family needs her help, she sets off on an epic journey. The film will also include demi-gods and spirits taken from real mythology.
This is also currently being directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the duo who directed The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules and The Princess an the Frog! So there’s that
yes yes yes
please don’t turn her into an animal for 90% of the film

In a present day idyllic kingdom, the benevolent teenaged son of the King and Queen (Beast and Belle from Disney’s iconic Beauty and the Beast) is poised to take the throne. His first proclamation: offer a chance at redemption to the trouble-making offspring of Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Jafar who have been imprisoned on a forbidden island with all the other villains, sidekicks, evil step-mothers and step-sisters. These villainous descendants (Carlos, Mal, Evvie and Jay, respectively) are allowed into the kingdom to attend prep school alongside the offspring of iconic Disney heroes including Fairy Godmother, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Mulan. However, the evil teens face a dilemma. Should they follow in their nefarious parents’ footsteps and help all the villains regain power or embrace their innate goodness and save the kingdom?
Definitely going to give this a watch! Especially to see Rapunzel and Eugene’s offspring?! Thoughts?
Casting is underway for Disney’s Descendants, a contemporary live-action adventure-comedy that taps into Disney’s heritage characters—notably its most evil villains–to introduce their progeny, a modern day generation of teenagers who ultimately question the evil that’s always been in their hearts

WELL… I wouldn’t be doing this with how much work I still have but I’ve been having a rough time with money orz I would like to pay at least a bit from one of my credit cards to end the year with less pressure :S
It adds because I’m living in a foreign country (expensive!) and I have minimum wage so I’ve been trying to cut my expenses by eating less and not going out but it’s not working pretty well for my health xD My dream is having enough to fix my camera (it broke in the plain!) and maybe travel a little while I’m still here in Chile… if I can pay part of my debt from that card :S (I lost hope on paying my other ones any time soon xD).
So I’m offering emergency commissions! I’ll try my best to finish all of them before Christmas o:
Maximum resolution I can give is 1536x2048 px
I can only accept paypal.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE SEND ME A NOTE or an email at iztactli(a)yahoo(.)com
If you can please help me with a reblog, that would be awesome! Thank you ;-;
I don’t do TMNT only, but these are the latest examples of fanart I have xD
What if Millennials’ aversion to car-buying isn’t a temporary side effect of the recession, but part of a permanent generational shift in tastes and spending habits? It’s a question that applies not only to cars, but to several other traditional categories of big spending—most notably, housing. And its answer has large implications for the future shape of the economy—and for the speed of recovery.

It’s safe to say that a decent number of Tumblr users are a part of the Millennial generation. So, tell us: Do you own a car or house? If not, why?
IT’S BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO DISPOSABLE INCOME YOU THUNDERING IDIOTS. Fucking preference has nothing to do with it. 50% of college graduates have no job! They all have the most student loan debt ever! What are you asking this question for?!
Also: housing is a good bit more expensive now.
My parents got a 15-year mortgage on a new house in the mid-70s. The house was $32,000. Average home price in that area now? $190,000.
So, home prices went up. Food prices went up. Health care prices went WAY UP. Rent prices went up. Higher education went up so damn high that some of us forgo that all together. Energy prices went up. Car prices went up.
Prices of prices went up.
We also pay cell phone bills, internet bills, data plans, text plans, online subscriptions, cable/satellite tv, netflix, DVR subscriptions — bills that didn’t even exist 30-40 years ago. We also use computers and smartphones and microwaves and other consumer electronics that didn’t exist 20-50 years ago.
We need medications and doctors and contact lenses and tampons and maxi pads and other things that cost money just to be alive and keep us healthy.
Most of us can’t afford to:
- Get married and have a “Traditional” big wedding
- Buy a house
- Buy a new car
- PLAN to have children
- Take two, consecutive weeks of vacation.
Jobs that paid 50k in the late 1990s now pay between 30-35. Interest rates that favor consumers have gone down.
So I say, no. We are not choosing not to buy homes. We’re not choosing to take the bus in cities where there’s no good public transit. WE ARE NOT CHOOSING TO LIVE WHAT SOCIETY DEEMS AS AN UNDESIRABLE LIFESTYLE.
Don’t even get me started on the fact that these two people in the picture are young white hipsters. Young black and brown folks have been forgoing homeownership and buying new cars for decades, this shit isn’t new, pal. You’re just acting like this shit is new because it’s hitting white folks.
anyway, my point is: We are fucking broke.
read the commentary above ^^
"Hey. Hey, guys. I know the economy being fucked up is totally our fault, but what if we tell people the next generation…wants to be poor?”
Oh look I’m reblogging this again.
OMG, yes. I’ve been at my current place of employment for twelve years, working my way up the ladder very slowly to the point at which I now have a full time job.
For nine months. And because it’s a contract, I get partial benefits and no vacation.
I am finally at the point of being able to allow myself the luxury of turning on the heat in the one room in my house where I spend the most time (not the others).
And I had a meeting with the head of HR at my place of work (a government organization no less) to address the employee dissatisfaction in a workplace survey. The employees feel there is no opportunity for advancement. And he straight-up told us that his vision for the future of HR across the board is the dissolution of full-time jobs and everybody (like us museum teachers) holding multiple contracts across several organizations to cobble together full time hours.
He could not comprehend my horror at this vision.
and we mexicans suffering in our country thinking that the economy of USA is better for everybody… we are all in the same boat.
